Our surveyor will carry out a free inspection of the interior of your home looking for issues relating to condensation, damp and mould.

The surveyor will use a range of tools to calculate internal readings such as humidity, temperature and dew point. A moisture meter is also used to aid diagnosis and provide physical evidence to the report. Moisture profile readings on internal wall surfaces are used to aid in the assessment of rising or penetrating dampness.

A thermal imaging camera can also be used during a survey to identify cold spots and cold bridging. These are used to detect differences in temperature on surfaces, making them useful to understand the accumulation of condensation and mould in properties, and what might be causing it.

The surveyor will then create an easy to understand report based on the findings from the visit, backed by photographic evidence, showcasing any issues and potential solutions.
